continual vs continuous 一樣嗎？
這兩個字都有「持續」的意思，但是卻是形容不一樣的持續方式！

🔍 延伸補充：
“continue” 這個動詞會延伸出 continual 跟 continuous 這兩個形容詞，
在了解了 continue 的意思之後就會覺得合理。
因為 continue 可以是 1. 持續，或是 2. 中斷後繼續。
例如 If the rain continues, we’ll have to cancel the plan.
（如果持續下雨，我們就必須取消計畫）
如果真取消了，就可以說 We cancelled the plan due to continuous rain.但continue也可以用在「中斷後繼續」，
例如 We will continue the meeting after a 10 minute break.
(我們會在休息十分鐘後繼續開會）
這邊的continue跟 the rain continues 就不一樣了！如此一看，便會理解為什麼會有 continuous 跟 continual 兩個很像，
但卻略微不同的形容詞了！
